Homeopathy

Homeopathic remedies are medicinal substances prepared in a way to highlight electromagnetic vibrations, to support your shift into positive healing energy. Classical homeopathy interprets symptoms and illness as the way your vital force expresses imbalances. Matching a remedy to your vital force’s way of expressing its distress supports your own healing energy as it works to rebalance your life. As a result the symptoms are no longer necessary, and they disappear. It is a powerful healing approach, different enough from traditional medicine that it often works beautifully when other approaches have failed. It is also extremely gentle, because it guides your own inner energy to find wholeness, rather than forcibly altering it by introducing an outside chemical agent.

One reason many people turn to classical homeopathy is to reduce the need to take doses of regular medicines that may be causing uncomfortable or dangerous side effects over time.

Hypnosis & Regression

Hypnosis guides you into a relaxed, stress-free state in which you can easily become aware of and then remove the obstacles to your self-fulfillment. I use a unique combination of modalities, including Reiki, EFT, anchoring, regression and parts techniques to help you change habits, thinking patterns and behaviors. There were experiences we underwent and decisions we made as children which molded our thoughts, beliefs and behaviors. By changing these decisions in this receptive state, patterns can be easily changed and you can unlock your full potential.

Psychotherapy

Art Therapy and Expressive Arts Techniques

Expressive arts can help you get in touch with emotions and semiconscious parts of your mind in ways that talking cannot. Examples of expressive arts techniques are drawing, painting, collage, sand tray, journaling, and poetry.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

DBT combines Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with mindfulness, an Eastern spiritual practice which is being used more and more in Western psychotherapy. DBT therapy incorporates specific skills in the areas of Core Mindfulness, Interpersonal Effectiveness, Emotion Regulation, and Distress Tolerance. In this method, I ask you to track how often you use each of the skills over the course of a week. DBT is proven to be effective with individuals who have conflictual relationships, changeable moods, impulsive behaviors, and many other issues.

Somatic Experiencing

Somatic Experiencing is a form of trauma therapy based on the assumption that traumatic experiences are “stuck” in the body energetically. The work of SE therapy is to help you identify where and in what form these experiences are held in your own body, to also identify how the experience of safety or relaxation feels in your body (surprisingly difficult for many people), and to gently let go of the energy of the trauma, without having to relive the trauma in the therapy session.

Trager® Approach

The Trager® Approach, developed by Milton Trager, M.D., is a pleasurable way to relieve stress and unnecessary tension. It is a way to access and reclaim the joy, vitality, and fullness of our being. There are two components of Trager® – tablework and self-care movements. In a Trager® session, the practitioner, in a meditative state that Dr. Trager calls “hook up”, initiates gentle rhythmic rocking, stretching, and shaking type movements which reverberate throughout the body of the client. These motions remind the body of its natural state of fluidity and elasticity and lull the body/mind into feeling states of deep ease, peace, and profound relaxation. See the Trager® website for more detailed information and articles.
